Systems
Systems, networks & security
Windows Server, networking and VPNs day to day at Nattia, plus a security model with granular access control, auditing and 2FA designed for LIT.
I administer and maintain servers, networks and equipment as a regular part of my work at Nattia: Windows Server, virtual machines and Linux environments, building full server racks (switches, firewalls), managing ports, mail services and DNS, designing VPNs, and administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Google Workspace.
LIT’s security model
At LIT, as the sole technical lead, I design the entire security model: granular role/permission-based access control, two-factor authentication (2FA), action auditing, and protection/anonymization of sensitive information. I also design the backup and recovery processes, with antivirus and firewall protection.
Precedent in my own projects
This security judgment has a concrete precedent in my own projects: on Fat & Happy POS I applied hardened remote access, a firewall, and intrusion protection on a Raspberry Pi. On Paola Glam Art, the decision to skip a database entirely is itself a deliberate reduction of the attack surface.
Systems auditing
At Nattia I also run audits on legacy databases for clients running older systems, including finding and fixing insecure configurations.
